Privacy notice
Comply Standards (“we”) respects your privacy. This notice explains how we handle personal data on this website and when you contact or buy from us. Last updated: 28 September 2026.
What we collect
- When you contact us or place an order: your name, email, organisation, country and your message. For orders, the billing details you give us.
- When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) kept for security. Our analytics, where enabled, are privacy-friendly and cookieless: they count visits without identifying you.
- We do not buy data, fingerprint devices, or track you across other websites.
The Bench (problem intake)
When you use The Bench we store your description, answers, the estimate inputs you choose, and any documents you upload (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, PNG or JPG; up to 3 files of 10 MB). Uploaded files are deleted after 90 days, and you can delete your brief, answers and files at any time from the brief page. Where our AI assistant is switched on, your words and document text are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) only to prepare your brief; they are not used to train public models.

How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. Order and invoice records: as long as tax law requires. Security logs: up to 90 days.
Who else processes it
Our hosting provider (our hosting provider’s data centre (details on request)), our encrypted off-site backup storage, our email service, and, when you pay online, our payment provider. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We never sell your data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@complystandards.com. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed at children. Products that involve children’s data have their own notice and follow the child-data rules of each country.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
